It is just as pictured. Great piece.

I love this little magnifying glass and use it to photograph extra tiny art. The little arms hold a piece of cardstock with my creations on it perfect and I love how the whole thing is adjustable. Would recommend!

A handy tool, I just it had not come prt tightened.( one finger bolt required pliers. (Not good for non-Hulks.
Otherwise exactly what I need.
It's the third hand at the right moment.

Pretty nice version, but lacking in some key areas.
First, the base is VERY small and not at all as heavy as I would like. It won't even hold up the included magnifying glass at anything less than a near vertical angle, making the magnifying glass impractical. The base is at least flat enough to incorporate a clamp or other weighted device, but this is also impractical.
Second, the thumb screws are far too small to apply enough torque by hand to actually tighten them enough to hold a static position. They're fairly easy to replace, but this is a cheap enough fix that it shouldn't have been shipped from the manufacturer with such shoddy hardware.
Neither of these issues are the fault of Stem Cell Science Shop, as this is made by Kikkerland. Overall, my experience with Stem Cell Science Shop has been exceptional.
