Shipping policy
RATES
We gladly ship worldwide and in a timely manner. For non-subscription items, we make every attempt to dispatch your order within 1-2 business days of payment. For subscription orders, we typically batch orders to ship all together at the end of each month.
We will cover shipping fees to US addresses for orders over $50.
When shipping fees apply, rates are automatically calculated by our carriers at checkout based on your order's weight, travel distance, and shipping speed.
If we cannot fulfill an order asap for any reason, we'll reach out via email to offer an alternate item, store credit, or refund. For pre-order and subscription items, the product page will indicate the expected shipment date, but other items in the order will ship as soon as possible.
TRACKING
All orders come with tracking information so you can receive shipment status updates. Please allow up to 48 hours after you receive shipping confirmation for your tracking info to be updated by the carrier. Please note: We only have access to the same tracking information as you and we have no control over a shipment once it has left our facility.
In the event of a lost/stolen package, please reach out and we'll work out a resolution.
U.S. ORDERS
We ship all orders via USPS or UPS. Some of our once-living items may be prohibited in some states/countries. Please be aware of what is and is not legal to possess in your state before placing your order. We may refund certain items from your order if it is known to conflict with shipping laws. We cannot be held responsible for any legal issues that arise from your possession of our items. For more, please see our terms and be sure you're familiar with the laws surrounding the wildlife specimens you're shopping for.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
We ship international orders via UPS and USPS. Shipments to addresses outside of the US are subject to customs inspection and subsequently take longer. Please allow up to 3 weeks for orders to Canada, and up to 6 weeks to other countries before reaching contacting us about your package being lost.
Import Duties, Taxes, Tariffs, and Fees:
Please be aware that international shipments may be subject to import duties, taxes, and other fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. These charges vary by country and are determined by your local customs authority.
By placing an order with us, you acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for paying any such charges. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be, especially in this time of frequent rate changes.
If you refuse to pay any import duties, taxes, or fees, and the shipment is returned to us, we will not be able to refund the shipping costs, and any other fees incurred will be deducted from your refund. If you'd like us to re-ship the order, you will be required to pay for postage again.
Please check with your local customs office for more information on the policies in your country.
Prohibited Exports:
We are legally unable ship most wildlife specimens outside of the US. We will cancel and refund any items ordered to be shipped to non-US addresses. If an order is flagged at your country's port of entry and returned to us, we will not be able to refund the shipping costs, and any other fees incurred will be deducted from your refund.
SUSTAINABILITY
We use as much recyclable/compostable packing material as possible and all shipments are 100% carbon-neutral.
