With this in mind, Stemcell was founded in 2015 and has since worked with some of the biggest names in popular science, launched one of the top monthly science boxes, and met countless science enthusiasts who love our shop.
In 2020, we closed our Tulsa, OK storefronts and focused fully on expanding our online business.
Why "Stemcell"?
The name "Stemcell" for our science shop is a multifaceted homage to the transformative potential inherent in both biological stem cells and the acronym STEM, representing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

We guarantee the authenticity of our fossils, artifacts, and other rare specimens. We can do this by sourcing our items only from trusted sources and consulting with experts in various scientific fields to provide independent verification.
If we do offer synthetic fossil replicas, but they will always be clearly labeled as such.
Sourcing Ethics
Life is of supreme importance to us. All of our specimens of once-living creatures have come from verifiably ethical and humane sources. This means all of these creatures were not destroyed to make these products, but lived and died naturally in the wild.
Regarding Labware in Texas
As of Sept. 1, 2019, a special license is no longer required to own laboratory glassware in the state of Texas.
