These clear, straight-sided, wide-mouth jars are our favorite for storing all sorts of lab specimens and materials. They are made of durable flint glass and include white metal lids (except for the 2 oz which has a gold metal lid) with plastisol lining to create an airtight seal.

Great quality and perfect size!

One minor detail

I really do like the 1/2 oz jars I received, and the lids do thread well. The dimensions given are pretty accurate. I just have one small issue, I wish I could have also received the dimension for the width of the wide mouth as it is not as wide as the width of the jar itself. The objects I wished to place inside would have just fit, except they could not pass through the wide mouth. This is probably more my fault for failing to think this through. I will attempt to edit this later *with* an actual dimension for the 1/2 oz bottle’s wide mouth opening. So all you others suffering the same blunder out there can learn from my ignominy.
