Handheld Wire Saw
Handheld Wire Saw
Item #213
This saw can easily cut through wood without a rigid or sharp blade. Instead of using sharp teeth, this wire saw cuts using the abrasion of the wound steel wire. This makes it safe for anyone to use and simple to learn. Plus it’s compact size makes it an easy addition to your camping equipment in case you need to cut firewood.
Protip: Find a flexible stick to span the wire across with some tension (like an archery bow) and you'll have a one-handed wire saw.
Industrial wire saws are slightly larger and have diamond-impregnated beads so they can cut through concrete, marble, granite, and other large stone blocks.

WE TAKE SCIENCE SERIOUSLY
You deserve better than craft store science products. And we think learning is more impactful when you're holding a tangible piece of what you're learning about. That's why Stemcell exists.
We're dedicated to providing the best scientific products available—whether they're fragments of scientific importance, experimental activities, or just interesting things that scratch your curiosity itch.
With every new product launch, our list of new ideas gets longer rather than shorter. So check in often for our latest projects, and thanks for being a part of our endeavor to make the world a smarter place to live.
Believe in yourself; for everything else, there's science.
