This reduction adapter allows you to connect accessories with different T2 thread sizes by adapting from the larger M48x0.75 mm thread to the smaller M42x0.75 mm thread. It is especially useful for fitting 2-inch color and nebula filters between your camera and telescope. Made from matte black anodized aluminum, it offers a free inner diameter of 39.0 mm and an outer diameter of 50.65 mm (2 inches). Despite its robust construction, the adapter is very lightweight, weighing only 10 grams.
