I absolutely love this item. Many fossils have an air of intangibility about them. They don't seem real somehow, transformed in their stony tombs. But this... it looks like it fell off one of these fuzzy monstrosities yesterday. I keep it on my desk next to a hand lens, where I can study it from time to time over coffee and dream about my hominin ancestors.
