Copper's atomic number is 29 and its symbol is Cu. Copper has been used by mankind since... well, the copper age. Its high conductivity makes it perfectly suited for electronic wiring. On its own, it tarnishes relatively fast into a greenish color. A good example of its oxidization is the Statue of Liberty in the United States. The statue was originally a nice shiny copper color, but by design, it transitioned to the green color that it is today.
