Fluorite Botryoidal on Quartz Natural Mineral Specimen # B 5039
Features:
This specimen is a great example of this well-known material, with a delicate golden-yellow sphere sitting on a somewhat smokey colour Quartz crystal matrix.
It's crucial to note that the Quartz is crystallised, as many pieces from this locality have Fluorite atop cryptocrystalline Quartz, such as Chalcedony, rather than euhedral crystals like this one.
When backlit, the Fluorite "ball" is gemmy, and it's in perfect condition, with only a tiny bit of roughness on the rear where the piece was taken from the pocket wall.

Secondary Mineral(s): N/A
Matrix: MM Quartz
